"UP" Movie Review

“Up” tells the uplifting tale of 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen (voiced by the legendary Ed Asner). His lifelong dream is to visit the wilds of South America. One day, before heading to retire to an old-age home, he ties thousands of balloons to his beloved house and flies away to Paradise Falls.

But unbeknownst to Carl, there’s an unwanted passenger in his flying home – the overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell (Jordan Nagai). The unwitting stowaway is just one badge shy of achieving his Senior Wilderness Explorer rank. The pin that will help Russell reach his goal is the Assisting-the-Elderly badge.

After work, I drove alone to the Tropicana City Mall during heavily rain.. -_- Luckily, I got the tickets before the reservation time is finish. I am waiting for my mom and sister in 25 mins..lol. First time, we go in the GSC cinema because The Tropicana City Mall still is new! :D

“Up” is very a comedy movie because it give the feeling of heart and sorrow, but it also make you also happy and laugh so together! I also touched with the loving relationship between Carl and his wife Ellie! It always bring laughter come from Kevin, a 13-foot tall flightless bird and a clever dog, Dug. Wow, a boy is brave and wants to help everyone! He is very cute! After his wife, Ellie passed away, his heart already lost and not believe anyone..Like,he's missing something in his life, and he's lonely. When Carl is flying with his own house, many happened to him in the jounery to Ellie's dream place until the special bond that forms between Carl, Russell, Kevin, and Dug is also heartwarming. In “Up,” you will identify about how the old man who is brilliant enough to make his home fly high up into the sky! ^ ^

I really like the colorful balloon! :D I wish to sit in a house with the balloon! Hehe..A kid also can fly with the balloon! O_O It bring the meaning for the kids and adults..You also can do what come from your heart!! And that friendship is one of the most beautiful things in the world. That is their journey that they take together not only makes them stronger within, it gives them hope, and it gives them each other. :)

If you are looking for a hillarious movie with some sensical meaning. Up is highly recommended. It was truly awesome. Bravo!

Harry Potter and Half of Blood Prince Review

Summary

In Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, Harry finds a book marked mysteriously, "This book is the property of the Half Blood Prince," which helps him excel at Potions class and teaches him a few dark and dangerous ones along the way. Meanwhile, Harry is taking private lessons with Dumbledore in order to find out about Voldemort's past so they can find out what might his only weakness.


Long time I not see this movie~ but i feel that the previous movie; Harry Potter 1, 2 and 3 are better than now. After that, I not see the Harry Potter movie 4 and 5 again because I always busy with my studies. I also have the collection books - Harry Potter at my home! :D I think that it is better to read the books than watch movie because sometimes the movie have to be shorten time and separate the different scenes.


They not always use magic to fight with the evil people and it showed that less action only, so, they also used to talk alot lot..but there are an interesting scene about how to study magic in the Hogwarts school; Harry is also learning a lot from an old Potions textbook that contains clever notes from someone self-styled the "Half-Blood Prince.". And they played interesting game, Quidditch but this game don't take long time.. :(

The 6th movie isn't too scary for the kids, with a good dose of humor, relationship between friends - Love, charm , and more close with dark forces. This chapter ends with a moment of steeled resolve as Harry prepares himself to make the journey and fight his enemies..

To be honest, I am really boring because it took 2 1/2 hours long! It make me want to sleep :( Hehe..I hope that next movie will be better on next year!

Kyoukai no Rinne

You remembered about the popular manga, Inuyasha and Ranma which worked by Rumiko Takahashi? I love Inuyusha because this story is very amazing and make more challenges between Inuyusha's group and evil enemies- youkai, spirits, etc! It is very interesting story! I not yet finish read Ranma manga..Haha. Check out my review about Inuyasha and Ranma.

After Rumiko finished the long story of Inuyasha, Kyoukai no Rinne is new manga just released in last month. It called 'Rinne' - japanese manga series written and illustrated.. The story of new manga is about a girl who got lost in woods mysteriously then acquire ability to see ghosts and spirits. I not sure if this will be horror story like Inuyasha?

THE SUMMARY

Sakura Mamiya, a high school girl who became able to see ghosts after she was "spirited away" for a week when she was a child, though she does not remember the details of the experience. Once in high school, Sakura wishes to be done with her extrasensory perception which is an annoyance to her. She meets a shinigami of sorts named Rinne Rokudo, a classmate of hers who was absent for the first month or so of school. His job is to guide spirits, who are bound to the Earth due to regrets, to the wheel of reincarnation so that they may be reborn. The wheel appears as a large red, spoked wheel revolving in the sky...

When I read this manga, I feel that this girl is really stupid, not like Kagome (Inuyasha) and Akane (Ranma).. Sometimes, she looks as cute, but she still confuse about what is different between human and spirits.. I am sure that she will make more trouble with Rinne when he has a mission about exorcises a spirit while he works as 'Shinigami'. Maybe she try to understand about 'another world'..

For me, she looks as Kagome? Because she can see the ghosts and spirits..What you think about it? :P



Rinne is Sakura's classmate and shinigami that sending the ghosts/spirits to another world through a large red, spoked wheel revolving in the sky..Why his hair is red?? He looks as Ranma character..I think that he is similar as 'Inuyasha' but, he also acted as 'cool' or sometimes show his pififul sin..He is funny when he still need coins and money to exorcise a spirit.. That is why he always borrow $$ from Sakura..He is really poor and don't have alot of clothes... Its surispre me about a shinigami need to pay $$ if he/she want to exorcise..? :P

So far, Kyoukai no Rinne has been kinda Bleach-ish, with Shinigami thing going on.. I like the beautiful red wheel used as the path to another world, mean if you die, you will send there.. Rinne's grandma knew something about Sakura? We will see what happen about this story! :)

Hikaru no Go

THE SUMMARY

Hikaru Shindo is just a normal 12 year old boy, but one day he's rumaging through his Grandfather's things to see if he can find something to sell and pulls out an old Go board. A ghostly apparation appears out of the board and tells Hikaru his sad story. His name is Sai Fujiwara, a man who was a Go instructor to the emperor of Japan a thousand years ago.

However, because of bad sportsmanship of his opponent during a game, Sai was accused of cheating and banished from the city. With no livelihood or any other reason to live, Sai commited suicide by drowning himself. Now, he haunts a Go board, and wants to accomplish the perfect Go game, called the "Hand of God" which he hopes to do through Hikaru. If Hikaru will be able to do it or not (or even wants to) will have to be seen.

Just now, I have finished reading this manga in a couple of days. Haha, actually I don't know anything related to board game such like chess or Go. Even I also dunno the rule of those game. @.@ Back to time ago, I saw my colleague reading this manga, and I was wondering whether it's interesting story. So I gave myself a chance to read. To my surprise, it's definitely an interesting story until it can beat your adrenaline out or make your heart pounding too fast or causing you sweating a lot as if you are challenged by a Go player. o.O

Even though it is an interesting story, it is also sad story where a ghost and a child are too attached to each others but it ended up by a ghost disappearing someday and a child will lose his will to play Go. This reminds me of a friend warning me that don't too attach yourself to a friend, who will know your friend will dump or betray you one day. Hahaha, it's funny. XD I do agree but only 10%.. To me, it's common as there are always a meeting and a separation everywhere. Is important that we always have to remember them in mind. =D

The character in this story are pretty awesome. With different personality and skill, the challenge in Go game become more intense yet interesting. Hikaru can meet each person and learn from the tournament then improve, sharpen or restructure his playing skill. I think it's totally different from chess. Ah, sorry I don't really know that deep about Chess. It's just my opnion :) I never try or learn Go game before. It's a rare game and kinda an ancient traditional game. Hehehe. I think playing traditional game are encouraged. In Malaysia, there are some traditional game but nowadays I rarely see people playing those. =S

Ooops, I shouldn't get off from the branch line... Hehehe, I recommend you to read this manga in OneManga or MangaFox. Throw me your rating here after you read them. ;)

Ranma 1/2

Ranma ½ (Ranma Nibun no Ichi, pronounced Ranma one-half) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi who created the InuYasha, popular manga. The story revolves around a 16-year old boy named Ranma Saotome who was trained from early childhood in martial arts. As a result of an accident during a training journey, he is cursed to become a girl when splashed with cold water, but hot water will change him back into a boy.

This story is very popular with the children and teenagers. It always give more comedy and funny stories about the characters' relationship when Ranma and Akane faces many challenges since Ranma and his dad was staying in Akane's parent house...

Wow, they always have martial arts competitions (whether martial tea-ceremony or martial cheer-leading) faded, in favor of more character-oriented action. It is really interesting, but it more silly! :P Sometimes the characters are stupid or clever when they joined in the martial arts competitions. Because the girls really angry and want to beat a strong girl, Ranma! Sometimes, Akane was jealous of Ranma? :P Maybe she loves him?

But, Ranma enjoyed to be girl when he wants to make the guys lose to him, especially Ryugo.. ^ ^lll This make me very laugh. Many different characters still come to find Ranma and Akane! Pity him because they have to fight with their enemies on every day! But, their dads' master is very pervert and always crazy about the beautiful girls! O_o Also get a strong girl want to take Ranma from Akane..Ryugo wants to confess his love to her! :D That is why they meet many enemies in their life! Finally, Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha already be completed in this year! :)

Their eyes are very big! O_o it like Saliormoon! Haha! But, their characters are better.. :) It always show many foods-style cute, french, japanese, tea and etc! She is very understand the people so she wants to make them happy when they are eating foods! :) If you cook something for special person that you like, it will bring happiness! :D Like magic..Haha. If you love foods, you can try to read this manga! You will understand what meaning of this story!

If you waste your foods, it is not good! It will teach you about what meaning about it :D

For me, this movie for those who have a quite liberal thinking about sex and marriage.. I saw lot of families and malays watch this movie when I entered in the cineam! I think that this movie is great and give the moral lesson for everyone

The story revolves around a married man who love his wife but he involved in the affair love, a bachelor who likes to flirt with girls and a schoolboy who is just starting to get involve into these love and lust matters since he fell love on his classmate's girlfriend. So, their accidental journey in seeking and keeping love and happiness.

This will give a 'lesson' on sex education, family, marriage and relationship. I see the interesting scene about the teenagers want to know more about sex and lure a teenager to fall in their trap..They also put the videos in YouTube after they record a video clip with used their mobile phone! O_o Especially, the girls must be careful when they already dating.. Pity old man..he easy to believe a young girl and fell in her trap 'affair sex'! :P A bachelor's story is very stupid and make me laugh out! HAHA! One word always question you all - "Can't there be love without sex?" That is why a wife try to ask old man and playboy Jeremy justifying his lifestyle by claiming it to be God's design.. There are another scene about a breakdown in communication between parents and children, that is why they don' know how to explain and give an advice to their children..

If you love this comedy story, you better to watch this~ ;)

Zero no Tsukaima

THE SUMMARY

Meeting our protagonist in this anime; Louise, a second year student at Tristain Academy of Magic where those who can use magic are either mages or nobles. Lousie however is terrible at magic and can never use it the way she wants to. Because of her current record, she is given the nickname "Louise the Zero" by her classmates.

Early in the school year, the second year students have to summon their familiars; this is considered a special ritual where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner. This moment, she summons up all her magic and gets Saito Hiraga, leaving her totally humiliated. Due to the rules of the ritual, Louise is left with no choice but have to accept Saito as her familiar. She then proceeds to treat Saito as any other familiar!

One day Saito challenges a disrespectful noble to a duel and during the duel, a sword appears in Saito's hands thus he obtains a mysterious power. With this power, he is able to defeat him in the duel. Together they face many mysteries and uncover unexpected truths including the nature of Saito's power and the truth behind Louise's inability to cast magic.

When I watched this anime, the first impression about this anime is that the setting appears to be very much a rip-off of Harry Potter's famed Hogwarts. But then when I watch this anime continuously, I found it is not very similiar... Just my first impression. :P But again, it's yes as it is much basically similiar to Hogwarts. A mage school.... And the world is wonderfully blended with such nice and soft colors that added with somewhat effects!

The characters in this anime are quite pleasure,often stuck to the humor and to relationship octagon, makes a full series of comedy. Satio just come from other world but he quickly become a likeable person at Tristain's! One who has a crush on him! One who goes crazy after him! One who becomes his rival! One who feel annoyed with him! Arr, all about him?! -.-" Those main characters in anime shares the common with Yuuji and Shana in Shakuga no Shana. Louise and Shana are both noticably fecrocious while Saito and Yuuji are both blindingly dumb!

Oh my! I don't know that there have 2nd season of ZnT: Futatsuki no Kishi; translated as "Knight of the Two Moons"! I must go to shop and buy this anime. Will do a review for you ya.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

THE SUMMARY

On the first day of high school, a girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself and announces that she has no interest in ordinary humans, some more she asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her.Only watching her weird behaviour is Kyon who sits in front of Haruhi. He don't hestitate to talk to her. Even he comments about Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting he unwitting gives Haruhi an idea to star her own after school club.

Oh my, I thought this anime is about musical and filming... from the sequence of this anime using dance or music so much ....But I'm wrong... This story actually centers on the paranormal situation and places the universe in middle of danger.

Many forms of paranormal beings like aliens, espers or time travelers... O_O Why did they appear in this Earth? Haruhi Suzumiya is the main factor... she is only the one who can bring Earth and the entire universe to destruction or remain like usual.

Wanna know the reason why Haruhi become their target? Go watch this story and you will understand why they want to keep on guard towards Haruhi. =D

There are three movies in the Disney Channel;

Last time, we watched the High School Musical 1 and 2 movie in the Disney Channel before. It is really good performance about dancing and singing. Many kids and teenagers really love this. So, it became the most successful movie in the Disney~!

My youngest sis love to watch the movies; High School Musical 1 and 2 when she is free.. Now, the High School Musical 3 movie already be out in Malaysia! She is really happy and asked my mom to watch together with her.. :P I just followed them to watch this movie. I never hear any sound like music..but, they are doing the performance so very great! They can dance and sing so very good! They stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future..!

I think that this movie bring the meaningful message to the family and teenagers. When they will graduate in their high school, they have to think and decide what they want about heir academic future.. What I like this scene about Ms. Darbus, teacher give an advice to Troy because she knew how comfortable he was on stage and how much he liked it. But, Troy says no, because he thinks of what his father want him to follow his dad's wish. That is why Troy is confused about his own future and cannot decide what he want for..More like "What is your decision after you finish study in this school?" so? You better to confress what is your feeling about your life! :D

It remind me about what my mom says..Since I finished my school, I don't know where university I want to choose so, I worry about my future, money and family. But, my mom told me.."Try to give your best to do.. because you can do what you like from your heart..". She said, "don't worry about money and family, we want you know about your future is more important in your life!" We don't mind if we have enough money or not, we just want you to study in where college or university which you decide .." So, I always focus on my studies so hardworking and success to gain my scholarship.. Until, I finally can get better job and can do anything that I love~ after I graduated in the university. ;)

It is better to know this message when you all watch this movie "High School Musical 3". You can bring your family to watch this movie! :D

Special A

THE SUMMARY

Have you ever known someone who was better than you at everything you did? Hikari does. She's known Kei since they were both six years old and he's surpassed her at everything. Why it choose name 'Special A' for anime and manga? Because the characters study in the private academy, but its elitle school for the rich students only. Like Ouran High School. But, its different story. The classes are separated into A-F based on grades. The A class is only open for the top students in each grade. The top seven within the A class, from first year to third year, are known as the Special A or SA class. It's same like my school.. Normally, my school arranged the classes within follow their students's result. But, my school don't have same 'special' class as them!

If you get full marks in each subject and get to the rank 1-7 (Special A), you can join in that class and can do anything as you like! You no need to study in the class! O_O They always relax in their own buliding - 'SA's Paradise'. Pity a class teacher 'SA'..No one want go..but, Hikari can used to study in his class only.

It’s also got a great sense of humour! I laughed when I read this manga! Its very stupid about a love between Kei and Hikari..:D So, I really enjoyed the series of manga. We got to learn some things about the members of the SA, for example, Kei's abilities which dislike by the others, Jun having an alter ego, why Megumi usually won’t talk, Akira’s past, and etc. Hikari is rather dense when it comes to her feelings, but it is great because her enthusiasm and positive outlook. She really does embody the philosophy, "if at first you don’t succeed, try try again". You have to admire her determination and persistence. This is why she is very hardworking girl and always practice on everyday! She always follow Kei went to top rank! :O But, she is really monster!! like superhuman.. She can jump very high! She can beat the bad guys so easily! She’s been trained from an early age to do pro wrestling! She is not very good at the cooking..Haha.

Many students want to challenged the members of the SA, especially Hikari (ranked 2) and Ryuu(ranked 7) because they want to study in top class SA, but no one changed..I sure that they are very smart and have 'genius' abilites! For example, Ryuu has an abilite; attract the cute animal, and Aikra is very genius about her cooking - chef, Megumi's singing, and Kei has an abilite; can remember anything that he see once only. Hikari don't have any abilities. She is very poor but the SA's members treated her so very good, especially Aikra, her best friend. So, she have great friends! :)

It is great story! It is top rank 2 in the popular manga from 'MangaFox'!! :O I thought that Naruto and Bleach used to be rank 1 and 2.. So, you better to watch the Special A Anime! :D

Ghost Hunt is getting exciting. I think that it is good story because this is a bit thriller and supernatural, but Mai is very cheerful and funny! :D . I really like about how the team investigated the mysterious of place; hospital, school, church, and etc.. :D Before I started to watch this horror 'Ghost Hunt', I thought that it will be boring if the story will make you scary only! But, it got comedy and enjoyable series too! :D Then it is nice and make me curious about what's next answer so I cannot wait for next episodes! ^ ^ Wow, there are the people have different ability for the ghost/spirit of exorcisman that joined in a team, such as an Onmyoji user, Buddhist Monk, Miko priestess, Catholic exorcist priest, and Spirit medium which have the ability to speak to the dead! It make me wonder if they are strong ot not! :D

Kazuya Shibuya is very quiet guy because he don't like social with people..Maybe he has other reason? His team always call him - his nickname "Naru". Mai thought that Naru is rude because he ingnore what she is trying to talk with.. But, Naru is not bad guy because his action are protecting Mai and his team.. :) It is weird about why Mai always dreaming about when she is in danger, other "Naru" appeared to her suddnelly..His personality is different than "Naru" ! O_O He always smile and try to tell her about what she needs to do.. Who is other "Naru" in Mai's dream?

This series is really nice and has 1 - 25 episodes only.. I really hope that they will do the 'Ghost Hunt' season two! You better to watch this anime! :D

Midori Days

THE SUMMARY

Even so 20 girls has rejected his love, he is desperate to have a girlfriend!

Until one morning when he wakes up and discovers his right hand become a miniature girl named Midori Kasugano, she confesses that she has had a crush on him for 3 years. Seiji feels excited upon hearing her confession. From now on, the pair has to adapt to this sudden and forced closeness over the next two weeks. Much mayhem and some romance ensue between them. Seiji sometimes become annoyed with Midori's attitude but he also become embarrassed when Midori says she loves him.

In order to hide Midori from the public, Seiji does his best to make his right hand look like an injured hand by wrapping a bandage around her head. Only a few people knows about Midori being his right hands. As the story progresses, Seiji becomes conscious that he has developed feeling for Midori and demands that Midori is indeed important to him and he can't bear losing Midori. Midori somehow realizes that the situation can't keep like this on forever and decides to restart their relationship after she returns to her body.

And the manga ends with them becoming a couple, with Seiji buying a new diary for Midori, after letting her read old one.

Midori is translated as "Midori No Hibi" in Japanese. I think Midori is only the main character instead of Seiji - the manga focuses on her mostly. I feel sympathy on Midori as she is too weak to confess to the one she loves in the reality. But Midori is not that type when she is being Seiji's right hand. Totally different from the reality. She is always daring to tell him she loves him and it has been already many times! @_@ The love can happen between a rough delinquent and a shy girl. It reminded me of my friend who has a boyfriend like Seiji. She is always worried about his getting worse and worse in future. So she has to do a lot of efforts and sweats to change him to be better person. Under her influence, he is really changed to a good guy. She is relieved and she can rest without ant worry. o_O Is it really worked up? If you have a boyfriend like Seiji whose you worry about his bad behaviour, you better have to read or watch this and learn how to CONTROL your boyfriend. =D

THE SUMMARY

Graduated from from the Merdiana Magic Academy in Wales, Negi Springfield, 10-year-old magician is given a duty to be a English teacher at Mahora Academy in Japan for his training before he can become a full-fledged Magister Magi, a special wizard who uses his powers to help normal people using covers such as working for NGOs.

Starting from here, his task will be not so easy as he has to become a teacher to a Middle School class of older girls, each very special and unique in her own. His class consists a wide array of smart students, academically challenged, athletes and cheerleaders. Furthermore, it also includes several martials, a ninja, a vampire, a robot, a ghost, at least one demon, a web idol and even a time traveling Martian! O_O

Nearly all the students are associated with various school clubs or sport teams. Through interaction, Negi learns about his students in depth. By his time flowing and adventures in the academy, he slowly gains acceptance and respect from his students despite on he being a kid. Negi often helps them in their problems and build a relationship with Asuna Kagurazaka, his students and roommate faces magical threats from inside and outside the academy.

Negi's reason for becoming a Magister Magi is to find his father, Nagi Springfield, the legendary mage also known as the "Thousand Master" who many believe to be dead. Soon, some of his students learns about his true identity and make a probationary contract with him this becoming his partner.

He and his students eventually find themselves drawn into multiple conflicts and incidents in succession or simultaneously. Ultimately, his magic and training connect him to his father and his courageous comrades, who he hopes to follow in the footsteps of someday.

Negima! is created by a famous artist, Ken Akamatsu, who previously did manga and anime named Love Hin! Before watching Negima!, I read and watched Love Hina. It's a really comedy love story. Love Hina was really a popular in Japan and America. Now Ken Akamatsu tries to make something different for Negima! from Love Hina. Still, he never forget his main concept, "medicine of laughter", so he brought Negima! into a mix of action, fantasy, magic, horror, romance and of course COMEDY! ^_^

Oh my god... O.O There is such a boy can become a teacher at a very young age! I thought he is a genius but his rank is only a "Magician". Hahaha.. He make a good use on magic but sometimes fail to cast magic when Asuna is nearby thus causing Asuna's clothes is busted off... Hahaha..Asuna always scolds and bullies Negi... Pity on him! He always tried all of his best to become mature as other teachers so he has to be hardworking and demanded to be fully capable in everything. However, due to his appearance and age, he always is being treated as a cute little kid... Hahaha

THE SUMMARY

I found out that the characters in Ouran High School have own uniqueness in their characters. Hmm, a weird male characters: The wild one, the shortie-cutie one, the gay-like brothers, the cool one and the blond one. And they have own colors... Haruhi is White, Tamaki is Red, Kyoya is Black, Hikaru is Blue, Kaoru is Orange, Hunny is Pink and Mori is Silver... -_- like Power Rangers.. That's why i called them as a weird group... hahaha
