Sherlock Holmes Movie Review

After finally catching serial killer and occult "sorcerer" Lord Blackwood, legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson can close yet another successful case. Before 12 midnight on 31 Jan, my family and I decide to watch a long awaited of movie "Sherlock Holmes". :P Since I am teenager, I always to read more stories about her and Dr. John Watson. I really love it! But, it is really different than what I read a novel.

O_o Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson always act as cool, but they also argue each other, like old couple but they are very close in their bond of friendship. That is why they are best friend. Dr. Watson never leave Holmes's side when he worried Holmes will face more dangerous mission...I think that Holmes sure need Dr. Watson's help when he is alone to solve mystery about Dark Magic. Holmes is very weird when he is very thinking so deeply and like to try examine about how magic and science can battled it all out...that is why he try to test himself. He needs to understand what is his enemies' mind.... At least, his brain is still working and the elements of criminologist remain intact...Amazing, his skills are use of astute observation, deductive reasoning!
Sometimes, you are seeing humour, action, mesmerizing dialog from Holmes. :D For example, he always show his humour action and talk jokes with Dr. Watson so, I think that he wants to bully Dr.Watson when he is in good mood. If he is in bad mood, he always act so messy, and love to do weird things.. Holmes is really very intelligence guy who think his action 1st before he does..but, he is really fast when he wants to find the answer so quickly! So, he is very risk taker.

Wow, many people wear black during twentieth centuries! They don't have more knowledges about science that compared with today. They always focus on more Politics and Economic in London..

For me, it is very good story. The Sherlock Holmes 2 will come out because I felt that Holmes's enemie will appear and face with him soon... You better to watch this movie if you're Sherlock Holmes's fan! :D

Surrogates Movie Review

Summary

Surrogates, based on the graphic novel, foretells what it would be like if we all created robot versions of ourselves to do out daily activities while we stay home and control them via virtual reality. We could stay young, vireal, buff and beautiful. We wouldn’t have to worry about hygiene, getting fat and aging. It is quite a dynamic and creepy fantasy world depicted in this film.

Once the world is established we meet FBI Agent Greer who takes a case that involves users of the Surrogates dying when their robot counterparts die. Is it the Prophet who is doing the killing as he unleashes his agenda to save mankind from its reliance on the robots? All these are suspects and more as the film twists and turns through this futuristic world at break-neck pace.

Maybe you don't know what is about Surrogates.. Everyone own a surrogate robot body in their lives in countries. Their feeling can accept the everything good through the surrogate experiences, e.g. he uses his robot body to run so faster, and not need to gain the painful experience when a person beat up his robot..mean his robot can do everything as he likes...But, there are very murder mystery set in a future world with filled the robots! How to kill a human through his/her robot? They use a dangerous weapon to kill who is involved with world-company which sell the surrogate robots..

I am shocked when I see which is one real human in a group of robots in the place??! I think that it is hard to find out one of them.. :P because the robots looks as very real real! This is really a 'Second Life' games when you play the character in the world through the multiplayer games!! I played the multiplayer games before but, this movie make me wow! :P I think that the actors/actress did a great job at acting like a robot in this movie.. :D

For my opinion, those who don't accept reality-life and use two-faces to use a robot. e.g. a guy use a female robot to play with them, or lie to everyone about his/her life...And if everyone uses surrogates all the time for just about everything, like working and enjoyable of life, they will be unhealthy because they always be in home only. They also never express their real emotions like love, fear, sadness and guilt starts! It will affected the children. What you think about this story? :) It make everyone learn to accept your own mistake in reality life after a FBI Agent Greer stopped it from culprit who wanted to destory everyone own the robots...

Angels & Demons

THE SUMMARY Angels & Demons is based on the novel by Dan Brown and has a returning Tom Hanks as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. He is called upon by the Vatican to help investigate the kidnapping of four Roman Cardinals during the voting in of a new pope. What he finds is more a terrorist threat. A bomb has been planted somewhere in Vatican City and it is up to Langdon, a female scientist Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer ) and the prior popes right hand man Camerlengo Patrick McKenna (Ewan McGregor) to figure out ancient clues to find the bomb and save the Cardinals. It is a race against time and old church tradition. The terrorist plot points toward an ancient sect known as The Illuminati, a group who has a century’s old vendetta against the Catholic Church. Langdon must decipher their history in order to find the clues necessary to save the day!

I have two famous books; Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown because it make me like to know more about the mystery murder which is related with the historical information 'Jesus' and 'Vatican's secret'.

When I watched the movie, it added some history of Rome was awesome and guide to the path which give the interesting information... I think that Robert's performance and spirit with a nice touch and sense of humor. :) I like the Angels & Demons because it is better than the Da Vinci Code movie because it combines ancient church culture, a thrilling race against time, and a treasure hunt of Roman artistry, amazing history about elements and science, and mysterious places.. When a priest meet Robert Langdon, he asks, "Do you believe in God?" Well, it is hard to answer this question for me, so it depends on your life to believe what you see in your heart or keep to faith in God?

I am thinking a question about antimatter bomb, a tiny device with the power of a nuclear warhead is existed in our world or not? The landscape of clouds looks great and beautiful when the antimatter bomb finish the battery, then want to BOM!.. This is very interesting story...You need to find out who is real bad guy behind this plan to destroy the Vatican! :P You will enjoy the movie for what it is: an exciting mystery, set in the awe-inspiring beauty of Rome, murder at the Vatican and a secret and powerful society known as the "Illuminati"!

The Pink Panther 2

Funny, I laughed uncontrollably when Clouseau tried to tell the SWAT team about a password security - "hamburger"! I really like the Smart Car because its cutee..Hehe Funny, they went to park their car into the small place! And Ponton is very scare when Clouseau drives the Smart Car! :P

There is also some supposedly humor involving the pope! This is my first time to watch the scene about the amazing place - Pope's buliding... Clouseau acted as weird and funny while he explained how to stole the ring to the Pope and the detectives..Then, he try to go outside after he is wearing the priest's cloth.. He don't notice that many visitors tried to take a photo on him at the Pope's buliding! They thought him is the Pope. It is funny.. HAHA! Sometimes, he cannot solve this case on his own because he confused about his relationship with Nicole? :P Maybe, Ponton and Nicole knew that Clouseau is genius detective? Who knows it? You better to watch this movie! :D

This is a really goofy movie for them to be involved with, they’re mostly there to provide a backdrop for Martin’s humor!

Detective Conan : Full Score of Fear

THE SUMMARY

To cut a long story shorten, this movie is about serial murders and bombards involving all kinds of musicians have occurred. It is discovered that all the victims are from a Music School led by a famous organist and former pianist named Doumoto Kazuki.

Conan and his accomplices have been invited to attend the opening concert of Music Hall. The biggest attraction of this concert is the world famous violin called "Stradivarius" and a special appearance of the main Soprano named Akiba Reiko who has perfect pitch from that same school as well.

However, due to unknown reason, Akiba has been being attacked thus it falls to Conan to protect her, investigate the true motive of all the serial murders and catch the murderer before the concert become bloody stage of a tragedy.

If you are fan of Nodame Cantabile or classical music, you may ought to see this this movie as it consists a lot of music performance. But too bad that I am deaf, can't hear the rhythm... XD But the environment on the stage of the concert are really conceiving. When watching this concert, you will feel like you are at the concert there. o.O

What I like about this movie is Akiba Reiko. Although she is just a supporting character, but she managed to steal the main female character spotlight from Ran who is the usual in the previous ones and become more active character at Conan's side. I am sorry for Ran but I really like Akiba better. She really look very elegant and also a smart lady. What's unique about her is that she has perfect pitch... I wonder what it feel like having a perfect pitch. XD

However, the method of murders are extremely boring indeed as the death are just an instant and quicked skimmed past. It can't bring us to heart beat in guessing who is really the murderers. No clues... No evidences... No big climax... =/ But the outcome or the conclusion is fine still... I hope the next movie should make its BIGGEST CLIMAX.

Black Lagoon

THE SUMMARY

Okajima Rokuro is a Japanese businessman…in a town full of Japanese businessmen. His normal day consists of social drinking with clients and being kicked around by his bosses. He finally gets a break though, as he’s sent by his company to the tropical seas of Eastern China to deliver a disc…only his boat gets hijacked by a band of mercenaries that were hired to steal it. “Rock” (as he is newly dubbed by his captors) catches the interest of the only female merc “Revy” as she thinks he’s worth a ransom, taking him hostage. However, the disc turns out to be more trouble than its worth, and complicates things both for Rock, and the mercenaries known as Black Lagoon.

This anime is mostly violent and blood scenes all go about..but, it is cool when they fight with the strongest assassin, killer, and others in many violent battle! There are six strongest women; maid, mafia, nun, dragon lady, etc..They never give up and refuse to die! O_O I think that this story is made between the moral question of right and wrong. It means that how they justify their beliefs in what is right and what is not, just as how existentialists believe that every person chooses their own values for their own subjective reasons..

Revy is very tough because she is very experienced with using the guns, so she is gunfighter! Rock is the simple-minded person..Rock's struggle for deciding whether he should remain with Lagoon Company; a criminal organization or return to his ordinary life of a law-abiding citizen. So, this conflict between Rock's and Revy's views on crime and moral is important. Maybe Revy will fell love on him? Who knows it? Haha. She loves to bully Rock..Pity him!

I think that it is not suitable for the kids who watch this because its about how the companies betray their own countries , betray their own employees and even discarding them as mere tools for their own greed. That people will do anything for their own lusts and desire ... killing , betraying , creating weapons and more of the violent ones..

If you like to watch this anime, it is better to buy DVD anime~ Or, you can enjoy to read the manga Black Lagoon.

I think that its a strange style of drawing but its really cool... I really love the cute pet - Wiz! :D He is very funny when he become Daisuke or Dark Thief! In Daisuke's family, his grandpa become the phantom thief Dark Mousy before. I sure that he is very skilled than Daisuke. Daisuke's mother cannot become the phantom thief because this is phanton thief's DNA can passed to the generation of family- 'male' only. That is why made her very upset as a woman. So, she aware about her son, Daisuke because she knew Daisuke's fate, makes him will turn into Dark and must steal valuable works of art which is belonging to Hikari's family..Why? Dark have his own reason or take revenage on the creater? Who is the mysterious guy - 'creator'? Daisuke's father always find the secret between Hikari and Daisuke Niwa's family and think that why it always happened to their family... Daisuke's father adopted by Niwa's family as they want a heir male for the phantom thief dark, but Daisuke's father never become the Dark because he is not blood's Niwa's family..

Wow, there are getting more mystery stories which is related with Krad and Dark! O_O It is very interesting..This Daisuke's adventure runs across in what seems like a European type city, where action takes place from every artworks which created by the 'Hikari' creator. Satoshi Hiwatari is very caring guy, but Krad still hate Dark..That is why Hiwatari cannot control Krad. Why they still continue to fight each other since the generation Hikari and Niwa's family continue..? I sure that it never be end for them..Can Daisuke do it for end their tragic memories?

It is good story! I give 8 of 10 stars.. :D

When I watched this movie, it make me surprised..o_O He can fly so fast! His flying style is more like IronMan's..but he is very strong, as Superman! The robbers want to kill him. Their bullets hit his eyes but he don't feel pain! What is he?? Who is he? Where is he coming from? No idea because he don't remember his memories since he reached L.A.. For everyone, he really is hero after he changes into nice guy! :D

I think that every hero should get their weakness, right? For example, Superman's weakness is the green mineral stone called Kryponite. Spiderman's is evil Symbiote.. He has to get one too, for sure! When you watch this movie, you will know what is that! :D

This movie is really much great than Hellboy 2: Golden Army. Hancock the jaunty, jokey riff on the screwed-up inner emotional life of a traditionally ironclad superhero becomes Hancock the icky lesson in the importance of personal responsibility, loyalty, and continued family togetherness. Also, of course making the world a better place! :)

Case Closed / Detective Conan

In my college time, my cousin brought this manga book Detective Conan that volumed the number of 27 to my house on the celebration of my grandpa's birthday. He left this book at my place after the celebration. So I took this book as my own possession afterwards.. Sorry to my cousin. ^_^

Well, Detective Conan, as known as Case Closed in America, is a detective manga and anime series by Gosho Aoyama which has been currently published since 1994.

THE SUMMARY

The story starts with a 17-year-old high school student Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri who are on a trip to a theme park named Tropical Land encounter a murder there. After solving the case, he happens to track two mysterious men in black and tells Ran to go home, then witnesses an illegal deal. Unfortunately, he is knocked out and given an untested experimental poison named Apotoxin-4869. However, Shinichi still survives but has now been shrunk to a 6-year-old young child.

Telling the incident to Dr. Agasa Hiroshi, Dr. Agasa asks Shinichi not to tell anyone. Bad time somehow occurs when Ran comes to his house and spot him in child form. Ran asks for his name and Shinichi comes up the name of Conan Edogawa. Dr. Agasa asks Ran to let Conan live together since he is not able to take care of a young child. What's more is that Ran's father, Mouri Kogoro is a detective, so it is more convenient for Conan to amass clues about the men in black.

Still, Mouri Kogoro is an useless detecive and Conan always has to investigate and solves mysteries in his stead while he gets the credit. Thanks to Dr. Agasa for inventing gadgets which allows Conan to put Mouri in sleeping mode with an "anesthesia gun-watch" and mimic his voice with a voice changer disguised as a bowtie.

In order to cover his real identity, Conan studies in Teitan Elementary School and set up with Genta, Mitch, Ayumi and later Haibara to form Detective Boys. Shiho Miyano with her alias name; Haibara is a former member of the Black Organization, so Conan learns about the Black Organization, a huge international crime syndicate. Members in Black Organization takes after the brand name of alcohol drinks.

Later on in this story, Conan meets with Heiji Hatsutori, a rival detective from Osaka and becomes good friend. And also, the gentleman thief known as the Phantom Thief Kid who seems always intends to challenge Conan in addition to teasing him as well on some missions.

Now Conan continues to solve many cases happened along this story and needs to find a way to break through the Black Organization. And also, he wishes to revert his shrunken body to the normal body in order to realize his love to Ran Mouri.

Detective Conan has been currently running... a really long series~! @_@ But I am getting excited and excited with its story development. Every case happened won't be the same, but still Conan able to solve with a good result. That's what amazed me in that way. He is a real genius savant despite his body is being shrunken but his brain won't blunt!!! XD

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

This for all the guys who love to watch the TV serial drama; CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

CSI has often been criticized for the level and gratuitousness of graphic violence, images, and sexual content. CSI being the most-watched program on television for the 2002–2003 TV season and the most-watched scripted show for five consecutive seasons, from the 2002–2007 season..

Sad, Sara don't work for CSI again.. Warrick get the serious problem while he was finding a real killer, Grissom and his team found out the weird science case.. Who will know what truth hidden in the grave of danger? Curious!
